Commercial fisherman in small boats know what is going on in the ocean, why would they over fish it would mean no fish for years to come. They are more pollitacaly correct with their direction because they fear they will be put out of business in years to come. They have invested their live and financial backing to keep this industry going,

Proposed closures along the South Carolina coast set up by the SAFMC under the Marine Life Protection Act have prompted area fisherman to begin a massive petition drive to oppose any MPA’s until a number of conditions are considered. More time and factual data is needed to accurately portray the stocks of such fish. These MPA’s are harsh and drastic measures. If these get passed, this potentially could create a flood of new closures to OUR oceans in coming years.

What about the dimensions of a bag when flying? I bought a big duffle bag for carrying all my clothes because I’m a commercial fisherman and take alot of clothes on 21 day offshore fishing trips…

I want to use my same bag when I go visit my sick aunt in Texas, the dimensions are 15″H x 34″W x 17″D…is that too big? I dont know why, but I havent really been able to find anything helpful on google or anything.

opilio crab, ice, fishing offshore, crabbing for the pilio in st. paul and st. george in the bering sea among icebergs frozen fisherman, the crew, northwestern.. but never sould I disobey my loving sweet new girlfriend.. bu the money is so so good!! whew! talk about getting paid. that stuff rocks.. but it is so totally cold.. 15 ft swells… 35 mph gusts.. scraping ice, off ice, off ice, off frozen steel.

What do you think of this idea, I would like to buy one for fishing offshore maybe 1-5 miles off the gulf coast. Please experienced offshore fisherman only.
well i grew up in the gulf and know the waters well, offshore fisherman are different then regular boaters, offshore is a whole different world, i watched a video of 2 guys fishing an in 8 foot inflatable a few miles out landing a ton of kingfish, plus you dont have to worry about sinking with in inflatable boat…thx for the advice but you didnt help.
