how does the moon affect fishing in terms of new and full moon?

i fish in freshwater, lakes, ponds, rivers, up in the Sierra Nevada mountains. so i don’t need to know about the ocean tides or anything.

Why do saltwater fish die when put in freshwater? And how long will it take for them to die?

And vice versa (fresh to salt). So i expect 4 answers here =D

Should I go saltwater?

I just moved from New York to Florda. I left my 4 fish tanks with my uncle. They were freshwater and I had agressive fish in 2 tanks (1 in each tank) and the other one had some chiclids (not sure spellings right). I think I am going to start a saltwater tank now. Should I start it?
I have had those tanks for 2 years each.
edit:

I had a brackish for 1 year, they didn’t surve the black out in that one summer.

Fresh or Salt water aquarium?

I am getting 55 gallon aquarium. I just bought a 10 gallon that I have as a freshwater. I’ve had it a week and I really screwed up…but the fish are doing fine, so I am feeling a little more confident. I just basically want to know which kind of aquarium is easier to care for, and if I was to go with a saltwater aquarium, how much do nice looking fish and supplied cost monthly? Also, how much work goes into a salt water aquarium compared to freshwater?

Dragon eels?

I recently purchased two dragon eels, approximately 5 inches long each. The main question i have is how long will they be able to get along with my freshwater angelfish (3 in. tall for now)
also, my roomate has had a dragon eel in a 20 gallon freshwater tank along with a bala shark and a small school of scisortail rasboras (I think that’s what they’re called), and i’ve been looking around online and things that i read say that the dragon eel is a saltwater fish that prefers a cooler temp. I’m wondering, if this is true how is my roommate’s eel still alive? Or is it true, what can YOU tell me about the dragon eel?

How do you introduce a saltwater fish in a marine aquarium?

I just bought blue damsels, and I have always had freshwater. Is it the same way to introduce? If not, how do you do it?

I just set up a freshwater fishtank in my sons room. How long should I wait to put some fish in it?

I have had saltwater fish tanks, and it has been many MANY years since I had freshwater. How long to put some fish in?
